Whether you're leaving for your trip or have already arrived at your destination, everyone wants everything to go smoothly. We're here to assist you find solutions if you need to get in touch with us or locate your check-in information.

Check-in Information

For all our reservations, our standard check-in time is 4:00 PM. We kindly request that you do not check in earlier than this time to ensure our cleaning team has sufficient time to prepare the property for your arrival. However, we understand that travel plans can sometimes vary. If you’d like to request an early check-in, simply contact our customer support team in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. While early check-ins are not always guaranteed, we will make every effort to adjust based on property availability.


To make your check-in experience seamless, we will send you pre-arrival notifications via email a few days prior to your stay. These notifications will include all the essential details you need, such as:

• The property address

• Your personalized smart lock codes

• Check-in and check-out times

• Important house rules and helpful tips


We kindly ask that you read through these notifications carefully, as they are designed to provide all the information you need for a smooth and enjoyable stay. These emails are automated, so you can rely on them arriving in your inbox without needing to follow up.

In-person Check-in

For some of our properties, an in-person check-in may be required. If this applies to your reservation, we kindly ask that you provide us with your estimated check-in window in advance. If you are flying in or traveling from abroad, sharing your flight details with us can also be incredibly helpful. This allows our staff to coordinate your arrival more efficiently and monitor for any potential flight delays to ensure a seamless check-in experience.

For properties with self-check-in, our standard check-in window is between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM. While we strive to accommodate arrivals outside these hours, please note that we are not a hotel with 24-hour reception services. Late-night check-ins or very early check-ins may not always be possible, so we recommend contacting us in advance if you anticipate arriving outside the standard window.

Your privacy is extremely important to us. Any personal information you share, such as flight details, will be handled with the utmost care and in strict accordance with our privacy policy.

Accessing the Properties

Your check-in experience is designed to be smooth and hassle-free. Most of our properties are equipped with self-check-in systems such as smart locks or lockboxes. Detailed instructions, including access codes, will be sent via email before your arrival.

Emergency Backup:

In the rare instance that you encounter any issues accessing the property (e.g., difficulty with a lock or misplaced access codes), please reach out to us immediately. Our guest support team can be reached at support@weekaway.ca or through the contact information in your booking confirmation email. We are here to help and will work quickly to resolve any issues.

Review of Check-in Methods

We understand that every guest has unique preferences and needs when it comes to check-in, which is why we offer multiple methods to ensure convenience and flexibility. Here’s a quick overview of the check-in options available:

Self-Check-In - Many of our properties feature smart locks or lockboxes, allowing you to check in at your convenience without needing to meet anyone in person. This is perfect for guests arriving late or with unpredictable schedules.

Keyless Entry - Some of our properties use advanced keyless entry systems, where you can access the property with a unique code or electronic key fob. You’ll receive detailed instructions and access credentials prior to your arrival to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.

In-Person Check-In - For select properties, we offer a traditional in-person key exchange. Our team will coordinate with you to ensure someone is available to greet you, provide your keys, and answer any immediate questions about the property.

Concierge Check-In - At select locations, our concierge service offers a more personalized touch. A friendly concierge will meet you on-site, hand over the keys, and guide you through the property to make sure you’re fully comfortable and informed.

Property Guidelines

To ensure an enjoyable stay for you and future guests, we kindly ask that you:

Respect the Property - Treat the home and all its amenities with care. Report any accidental damage or maintenance concerns promptly.

Follow House Rules - Adhere to any specific rules outlined in your booking confirmation or pre-arrival email, including noise limits, smoking policies, and guest capacity.

Be Mindful of Neighbors - Help maintain a positive relationship with the community by keeping noise levels down, especially during quiet hours.

Baggage Drop-Off

In some instances, we may be able to accommodate early baggage drop-off. If you require this service, please reach out to us in advance, and we’ll do our best to make arrangements based on property availability.

What if I arrive late for check-in?

If you’re running late, don’t worry! Most of our properties offer self-check-in, so you can arrive at your convenience. For in-person check-ins, please notify us as soon as possible to coordinate your arrival.

What should I do if I lose access to the property?

Contact us immediately at support@weekaway.ca, and we’ll assist you in regaining access.

Are early check-ins or late check-outs available?

Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to availability. Please contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Can I leave my luggage after check-out?

While luggage storage is not guaranteed, we can sometimes accommodate baggage drop-off or storage requests. Please let us know in advance if this is needed.
