The WeekAway community
We strive to create a community where everyone feels safe and included. To achieve this, we have set clear Community Standards that outline expected behavior for guests. These standards include safety, security, fairness, authenticity, and reliability, which form the foundation of trust that is essential for our community to thrive.
We are committed to upholding and enforcing these standards to ensure that all experiences are safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Community guidelines
Threatening anyone
You shouldn't use your words or your body to imply that you mean to hurt somebody. We treat threats of self-harm just as seriously as we do actual acts, and if we become aware of a threat, we may act to stop it. We are dedicated to cooperating with law authorities when necessary and giving proper law enforcement requests our full attention.
Security
We share our houses, neighborhoods, and experiences in our community. You should feel secure when staying with us as a guest, and we kindly ask that you respect our property, information, and personal possessions.
Theft, vandalism, or extortion
You shouldn't take someone else's property, use someone else's property without permission, copy someone else's keys or identification documents, harm someone else's property, stay in listings after a stay is over, or threaten anyone with negative feedback or any other punishment or harm in an effort to get money or other benefits.
Violating others’ privacy or intellectual property rights
Our listings do not allow cameras unless they are explicitly declared and made apparent, and they are never allowed in private places (such as bathrooms or sleeping areas).
Disturbing the surrounding community
You shouldn't disrupt public areas, make your neighborhood a constant source of annoyance, or repeatedly ignore complaints from your neighbors or the local community.
Misrepresenting yourself
Providing a false identity or date of birth, using listings for business without authorization, hosting events or parties without permission, keeping multiple accounts, or creating an account if you're under 18 are all prohibited.
Breaking commitments
You should not cancel after the cutoff date specified in the applicable cancellation policy, except for extraordinary reasons. Additionally, you must follow the host's house regulations and make check-in possible.
Being unresponsive
You shouldn't be unresponsive when making a reservation or during a stay, give an inadequate point of contact, or decline to take part in our dispute resolution procedure.
