This guide is here to help you enjoy a smooth and comfortable stay, with all the essential information at your fingertips.

Arrival & Check-In Information

Address

  • Unit 1, 1402 2nd Ave, Canmore, Alberta T1W 1M9
  • On Google Maps, the address is listed as 'Sisters' Summit by WeekAway'
  • About an hour and a half from Calgary International Airport (YYC)
  • Home is located just off of Bow Valley Trail

Access Code

You’ll receive a unique access code prior to your arrival. This is your main code for entering the home and is typically set to the last 4 digits of the host’s phone number. Codes are only active at the time of your check-in and will expire at your check-out date and time. 

To Unlock Door: Press the home button, enter 4 digit code.

To Lock Door: From outside; Press the lock button once. (Make sure door is shut tightly)

Back-Up Code

In the unlikely event your main access code does not work, a temporary smart code is also provided with your booking. Only use this if the main code fails. This code works with all doors.

Check-In Time

Standard check-in time is 4:00 PM. This allows us to thoroughly clean and prepare the space between guests. If the home is ready earlier and not booked the night before, we’ll let you know.

Main Entrance 

  • Use the mudroom door to enter and exit — this is the only door with your guest code. This is the door with the sign next to it labelled “Unit 1 Entrance"
  • Lock can jam if the door is not closed properly. Please make sure the door is shut tight.
  • All other doors have smart locks and auto-lock after 10 minutes.
  • Emergency lockbox available — contact host for the code.

Parking

  • In front of the unit (left side when facing the property)
  • Along the side of the neighbourhood street
  • There is no assigned parking and no fees involved.

  • Banff Park Pass (please return it or fines may apply)
  • Fresh bedding, linens, Fairmont pillows, waterproof mattress covers
  • Towels (body, hand, face, hot tub)
  • Shampoo, conditioner, body wash & hand soap
  • Facial towelettes for makeup removal
  • Nespresso coffee, sugar, filtered water
  • Spray cooking oil, assorted spices
  • Full kitchen with appliances: fridge w/ ice maker, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle
  • Cooking utensils, dishware, children's plates & cups
  • Aluminum foil

Important House Information

Heating & Cooling

  • Central A/C & Heating — Smart thermostat on second floor near the bathroom. Do not lower temp below 18 degrees celsius as it can damage the A/C.
  • Portable Cooling fans in all upstairs bedrooms
  • Portable Heating fan in main floor bedroom (can be cooler in winter)
  • Heated flooring in main level and bathrooms
  • Built-in humidifier for the home (within furnace)
  • Gas fireplace in living room — please turn off when not in use

Laundry

  • Two washers and dryers: One on the main floor, one on the third floor
  • Please leave washer doors open after use to prevent mold or mildew

Garbage & Recycling

  • Bins are located in the kitchen and by the hot tub
  • Please leave garbage/recycling indoors — our cleaning team will take care of it. Outdoor bags may attract wildlife.

Pull-Out Couch Instructions

  • Pull the black tab in-between the top cushion towards you
  • Then pull gray support bar to unfold bed
  • Push bed from bottom upwards to return to couch form

Baby & Toddler Gear

  • We offer a pack-and-play, free of charge. Please request it 48 hours before arrival so we can prepare it for your stay. 
  • We also have toddler dishware, including plates, cutlery and cups 

Barbeque

  • Turn on main gas valve before use
  • After grilling, turn off main gas line and re-cover the BBQ
  • BBQ cooking tools are provided, including a grill scraper

Hot Tub

The Limelight Flash Hot Tub is a high-end luxury model designed for comfort, hydrotherapy, and relaxation.

  • Ergonomic seating for up to 7 people
  • Powerful jets for muscle recovery
  • Energy-efficient insulation and quiet operation
  • LED mood lighting for evening ambiance
  • Serviced after every stay: water completely changed, solvents added, filters cleaned
  • Return hot tub cover and turn off jets after use
  • Please do not bring glassware in the hot tub. Glass breakages in the tub are very difficult to clean.
  • Hot tub towels are provided in the cabinet next to the balcony entrance
  • Wind Warning: The cover may blow closed in high winds — be cautious when using during windy conditions

Safety Information

  • Fire Extinguisher: Under the kitchen sink (second floor)
  • First Aid Kit: Under the kitchen sink (second floor)
  • Minut Smoke and Noise Detector: We have installed an airbnb approved noise and smoke detector in our living room. Please do not tamper with it. This monitors decibels to ensure noise is kept at a reasonable level. It can also monitor cigarette and weed smoke in the premises. 

House Rules

Breakages

  • Minor accidents (e.g. broken glass)? No worries — just let us know or leave a note.
  • Major damage (e.g. TV)? Please contact us immediately so we can resolve it together.

Smoking Policy

  • No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes indoors
  • Outdoor smoking is allowed but please dispose of butts responsibly. We do not supply ashtrays.

General Care

  • Please treat the space with care
  • Report any damage as soon as possible — we won’t charge for normal wear and tear
  • Do not attempt to replace broken items — we likely have spares

Departure Information

Before You Go

  • You’ll receive a reminder 1 hour before check-out
  • No need to clean excessively— we use professional cleaners. However, we kindly ask you to:
    • Leave used beds unmade
    • Place towels in the laundry cart by main floor entracne or on bathroom floors
    • Remove all food from fridge, freezer, and cupboards
    • Gather garbage inside bags and leave them inside the home
    • Double check for personal items; items left behind can be shipped for a fee of $25 CAD + Shipping Fee (depending on destination)
